may recognize this location driving west on Sherman Blvd on
the way to the beach. |
| Welcome! |
There are lots of kids who know us as the “Good Food” place
due to the sign on our restaurant. And we’re proud to uphold
that reputation. Cherokee Restaurant has been feeding
families since 1969, and for decades before that as SherMac.

We’re known for our great breakfasts – pancakes as big as
the plate they come on, hearty omelets, biscuits and gravy,
delicious French toast. You can get
breakfast anytime we’re open –
starting at 6 a.m. While we love breakfast, we also serve
great lunches and dinners – again, available anytime we’re
open! |

We’re your only local source for Upper Peninsula-style
pasties,
made fresh in the Cherokee kitchen. Our burritos are
guaranteed to satisfy your craving for Mexican; or try our
delicious homemade clam chowder or cheese broccoli soup with
a Clubhouse sandwich. |

|
Dinners specials Tuesday-Friday until 8 p.m. include all
you can eat spaghetti on Wednesday, homestyle pot roast on Thursday
and delicious blue gill or lake perch on Friday. Plus many
other daily specials our chef creates for you. Broasted
chicken, liver and onions and homemade meatloaf are other
popular dinner choices. |

| Come visit us – you
won’t be a stranger for long! |
